In December 2017, Texas A&M stunned the collegiate football world with the hiring of head coach Jimbo Fisher. Taking notice, adidas approached our senior staff with the opportunity to rebrand not just our Football team but also reestablish the standard of excellence for all of Texas A&M Athletics. Immersive agency and adidas partner Kamp Grizzly spent the next six months working closely with our Marketing and Branding & Creative teams to develop the mantra “AGGIES ARISE”, as well as the accompanying campaign creative. With our constant feedback, Kamp Grizzly developed a good majority of the Football print creative and laid a framework for our team to develop all of the remaining and future creative for the rest of our sports and various other department needs.
Personal responsibilities for the campaign creative include acting as internal creative lead, participating in early concept discussions to working back-and-forth with the Kamp Grizzly team in providing them with examples, assets, and consistent feedback on each Football creative piece - to leading a 5-week campaign bootcamp with all of our internal creative teams (video, digital, social).
For the 18 posters, personal responsibilities include photo shoot coordination/management, design, and prepress production, paper selection.
